A Platform for Ethnically and Culturally Inspired Music
ABOUT
Global Music Magazine" (formerly "Weltmusik-Magazin") is a German, independent, non-profit online music magazine, nearly without any stylistic and regional restrictions. It provides an undogmatic view of the international music scene. The magazine has been online since 07/2007.
Until 2015, the name was "Weltmusik-Magazin." Since we have never understood ourselves as a world music magazine, we changed the name to "Global Music Magazine." Not a particularly imaginative name, but it fits with the content, and that's what it's all about.
*Exceptions: Rap, German "Schlager," EDM, pure mainstream, violence-glorifying, intolerant, fascistic, racist, misogynistic, and otherwise discriminatory music.
