ABOUT
I am a Northumbrian smallpiper from the Scottish Borders and an ethnomusicologist. I play Northumbrian smallpipes, Scottish smallpipes, border pipes, English concertina, and the Turkish ney. I do concerts and sell my CDs, occasionally give lectures and lessons. I am currently researching the Spanish gaita (Galician, Sanabrian, Sac de Gemecs, and Asturian) and I live in Spain when I am not in the UK.
