A Platform for Ethnically and Culturally Inspired Music
ABOUT
I was born in Bossier City, Louisiana, but I spent most of my life in Paris, Texas, USA. Well, in and out of Paris, Texas.

I have only been playing the Native American flute for about a year and a half. I really don't know what got me started. A couple of years before I picked it up, I was going through some post-traumatic stress and major depression. It was during that time that I began thinking about the Native Americans; their culture, spirituality, and philosophy, and something about that gave me the incredible urge to learn the Native American Flute. So I bought one. My first flute was a High Spirits Red Tail Hawk in the key of G made by Odell Borg out of Arizona. Since then, the Native American flute has become a part of me. It's gotten into my soul and speaks to me (metaphorically). Now I'm listening to the professionals and trying to learn and copy their techniques and sounds and incorporate them into my music. It has become a study of mine.

The songs you hear here are not finished but are only rough drafts as I have recorded them at home. I put them here to catalog the songs that I create, and they are nowhere near broadcast quality. Soon, when I accumulate 12 songs, I will perform them in a professional studio and complete them onto a CD master copy. Then, well, we'll see where we go from there.
