Around the eighties of the last century, Jos Hustings founded the band Carmine Queen, with whom he performed self-written songs. This band, along with Kings Ransom, later formed Kracq. Kracq started to make more experimental music, and Carmine Queen's songs were forgotten. Years later, some of these songs are being renewed by the current Carmine Queen.
The music is a mixture of socially engaged and poetical songs.
