About "The Great Mughal"
A duet of the Middle Eastern lute and the Indian Sitar as it may have occurred at the Mughal court in medieval India where Indian, Arab, Turkish and Persian musicians were known to play side by side for the entertainment of the king and nobles. And accordingly, after the classical prelude, the Persian drum Zarb and the Indian Tabla provide the exciting, refined rhythmic accompaniment.
