About "Ay Jan/Alap Robab/Srang Srang Srang"
An instrumental suite from Afghanistan, recorded in 1995, featuring my own transcription and adaptation of two Logari 7/8 dance tunes, with an improvisation (Alap) in between, played on the Robab, the Cura Saz and various traditional Middle Eastern/Central Asia percussion.
