A Platform for Ethnically and Culturally Inspired Music
ABOUT
The group Aljibe, from their first album 33 years ago, showed that their musical path was different from most of their peers. The fact that they are mostly music teachers and do not depend on the stage for a living gave them the freedom to record whatever they wanted.

Most of the group are the same members that started 6 decades ago, skilled players with an open mind, few gender prejudices, and knowledge of dealing. I find it interesting to see a group that discusses the arrangements among all members...and agrees, indicating a good match. The arrangements are well done, neatly presented, sometimes measured to the millimeter - if not the eighth note - and with the gusto of musicians who know their instruments, and their discs are good proof of what I say.
