Tash Tash is a Georgian-oriented musician, exploring the roots of his background and creating innovative sounds that bring Georgian traditional music up to date.
The influence is Georgian, but the melody and lyrics are the sole creation of the artist, combining the English and Georgian languages into his songs.
As if a star from the past has entered the 21st century, Mickey Mirel (Tash Tash), with his leopard shoes, greasy hair, and extravagant suits, blows his crowd away.
Singing in underground locations, jumping on narrow bars, and captivating the audience, they join in the dancing and singing, waiting for the week to pass by until the next show. He creates his livelihood by performing daily at the happiest events possible.
It all started when he was a member of the Georgian-Israeli dance group. Performing all over the country, he got the hang of the Georgian feel. Later on, he would discover the guitar and all the varieties of music.
The Georgian beat links all of Tash Tash's music; however, the vibe is international. No matter where a person comes from, Mickey's funky music and the way he serves it to his guests make everybody feel as if they had the "shalaxo" step as part of their dancing repertoire.
