Country & Eastern is the Swedish label for those who love listening to the international music equivalent of slow food - al dente music.
Country & Eastern is releasing unique recordings with:
1. Some of the greatest names in Hindustani and Karnatic music from the 60s onwards
2. Fantastic village music from Ghana in the 70s
3. Bitter Funeral Beer Band with and without Don Cherry in the 80s
4. Chinese Cricket Ensembles in minimalistic organic mixing, ambient in nature or arranged, in compositions and improvised installations, live concerts in various constellations with and without human musicians.
